In this blog I have made a humble attempt to spread awareness about satan, who happens to be the biggest enemy of all the human beings. Unfortunately, a lot of people do not understand the concept of satan, as mentioned in the holy Quran. Even if they do understand the nature of satan they do not make any attempt to protect themselves from satan. There is a clear mention of satan in the holy Quran in several places. I am posting all those verses from the holy Quran related to satan, which I have come across.

Al-Baqara (The Cow)
2:36 (Y. Ali) Then did satan make them slip from the (garden), and get them out of the state (of felicity) in which they had been. We said: "Get ye down, all (ye people), with enmity between yourselves. On earth will be your dwelling-place and your means of livelihood - for a time."
Al-Imran (The Family of Imran)
3:155 (Y. Ali) Those of you who turned back on the day the two hosts Met,-it was satan who caused them to fail, because of some (evil) they had done. But Allah Has blotted out (their fault): For Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Forbearing.
An-Nisa (The Women)
4:60 (Y. Ali) Hast thou not turned Thy vision to those who declare that they believe in the revelations that have come to thee and to those before thee? Their (real) wish is to resort together for judgment (in their disputes) to the Evil One, though they were ordered to reject him. But satan's wish is to lead them astray far away (from the right).
An-Nisa (The Women)
4:76 (Y. Ali) Those who believe fight in the cause of Allah, and those who reject Faith Fight in the cause of Evil: So fight ye against the friends of satan: feeble indeed is the cunning of satan.
An-Nisa (The Women)
4:83 (Y. Ali) When there comes to them some matter touching (Public) safety or fear, they divulge it. If they had only referred it to the Messenger, or to those charged with authority among them, the proper investigators would have Tested it from them (direct). Were it not for the Grace and Mercy of Allah unto you, all but a few of you would have fallen into the clutches of satan.
An-Nisa (The Women)
4:117 (Y. Ali) (The Pagans), leaving Him, call but upon female deities: They call but upon satan the persistent rebel!
An-Nisa (The Women)
4:119 (Y. Ali) "I will mislead them, and I will create in them false desires; I will order them to slit the ears of cattle, and to deface the (fair) nature created by Allah." Whoever, forsaking Allah, takes satan for a friend, hath of a surety suffered a loss that is manifest.
An-Nisa (The Women)
4:120 (Y. Ali) satan makes them promises, and creates in them false desires; but satan's promises are nothing but deception.
Al-Ma'idah (The Table Spread)
5:90 (Y. Ali) O ye who believe! Intoxicants and gambling, (dedication of) stones, and (divination by) arrows, are an abomination,- of satan's handwork: eschew such (abomination), that ye may prosper.
Al-Ma'idah (The Table Spread)
5:91 (Y. Ali) satan's plan is (but) to excite enmity and hatred between you, with intoxicants and gambling, and hinder you from the remembrance of Allah, and from prayer: will ye not then abstain?
Al-An'am (The Cattle)
6:43 (Y. Ali) When the suffering reached them from us, why then did they not learn humility? On the contrary their hearts became hardened, and satan made their (sinful) acts seem alluring to them.
Al-An'am (The Cattle)
6:68 (Y. Ali) When thou seest men engaged in vain discourse about Our signs, turn away from them unless they turn to a different theme. If satan ever makes thee forget, then after recollection, sit not thou in the company of those who do wrong.
Al-An'am (The Cattle)
6:142 (Y. Ali) Of the cattle are some for burden and some for meat: eat what Allah hath provided for you, and follow not the footsteps of satan: for he is to you and avowed enemy.
Al-A'raf (The Heights)
7:20 (Y. Ali) Then began satan to whisper suggestions to them, bringing openly before their minds all their shame that was hidden from them (before): he said: "Your Lord only forbade you this tree, lest ye should become angels or such beings as live for ever."
Al-A'raf (The Heights)
7:22 (Y. Ali) So by deceit he brought about their fall: when they tasted of the tree, their shame became manifest to them, and they began to sew together the leaves of the garden over their bodies. And their Lord called unto them: "Did I not forbid you that tree, and tell you that satan was an avowed enemy unto you?"
Al-A'raf (The Heights)
7:27 (Y. Ali) O ye Children of Adam! Let not satan seduce you, in the same manner as He got your parents out of the Garden, stripping them of their raiment, to expose their shame: for he and his tribe watch you from a position where ye cannot see them: We made the evil ones friends (only) to those without faith.
Al-A'raf (The Heights)
7:175 (Y. Ali) Relate to them the story of the man to whom We sent Our signs, but he passed them by: so satan followed him up, and he went astray.
Al-A'raf (The Heights)
7:200 (Y. Ali) If a suggestion from satan assail thy (mind), seek refuge with Allah. for He heareth and knoweth (all things).
Al-A'raf (The Heights)
7:201 (Y. Ali) Those who fear Allah, when a thought of evil from satan assaults them, bring Allah to remembrance, when lo! they see (aright)!
Al-Anfal (The Spoils of War)
8:11 (Y. Ali) Remember He covered you with a sort of drowsiness, to give you calm as from Himself, and he caused rain to descend on you from heaven, to clean you therewith, to remove from you the stain of satan, to strengthen your hearts, and to plant your feet firmly therewith.
-
Al-Anfal (The Spoils of War)
8:48 (Y. Ali) Remember satan made their (sinful) acts seem alluring to them, and said: "No one among men can overcome you this day, while I am near to you": But when the two forces came in sight of each other, he turned on his heels, and said: "Lo! I am clear of you; lo! I see what ye see not; Lo! I fear Allah. for Allah is strict in punishment."
Yusuf (Joseph)
12:5 (Y. Ali) Said (the father): "My (dear) little son! relate not thy vision to thy brothers, lest they concoct a plot against thee: for satan is to man an avowed enemy!
Yusuf (Joseph)
12:42 (Y. Ali) And of the two, to that one whom he consider about to be saved, he said: "Mention me to thy lord." But satan made him forget to mention him to his lord: and (Joseph) lingered in prison a few (more) years.
Yusuf (Joseph)
12:100 (Y. Ali) And he raised his parents high on the throne (of dignity), and they fell down in prostration, (all) before him. He said: "O my father! this is the fulfilment of my vision of old! Allah hath made it come true! He was indeed good to me when He took me out of prison and brought you (all here) out of the desert, (even) after satan had sown enmity between me and my brothers. Verily my Lord understandeth best the mysteries of all that He planneth to do, for verily He is full of knowledge and wisdom.
Ibrahim (Abraham)
14:22 (Y. Ali) And satan will say when the matter is decided: "It was Allah Who gave you a promise of Truth: I too promised, but I failed in my promise to you. I had no authority over you except to call you but ye listened to me: then reproach not me, but reproach your own souls. I cannot listen to your cries, nor can ye listen to mine. I reject your former act in associating me with Allah. For wrong-doers there must be a grievous penalty."
An-Nahl (The Bee)
16:63 (Y. Ali) By Allah, We (also) sent (Our apostles) to Peoples before thee; but satan made, (to the wicked), their own acts seem alluring: He is also their patron today, but they shall have a most grievous penalty.
An-Nahl (The Bee)
16:98 (Y. Ali) When thou dost read the Qur'an, seek Allah's protection from satan the rejected one.
Al-Isra (The Journey by Night)
17:53 (Y. Ali) Say to My servants that they should (only) say those things that are best: for satan doth sow dissensions among them: For satan is to man an avowed enemy.
Al-Isra (The Journey by Night)
17:64 (Y. Ali) "Lead to destruction those whom thou canst among them, with thy (seductive) voice; make assaults on them with thy cavalry and thy infantry; mutually share with them wealth and children; and make promises to them." But satan promises them nothing but deceit.
Al-Kahf (The Cave)
18:63 (Y. Ali) He replied: "Sawest thou (what happened) when we betook ourselves to the rock? I did indeed forget (about) the Fish: none but satan made me forget to tell (you) about it: it took its course through the sea in a marvellous way!"
Maryam (Mary)
19:44 (Y. Ali) "O my father! serve not satan: for satan is a rebel against ((Allah)) Most Gracious.
Maryam (Mary)
19:45 (Y. Ali) "O my father! I fear lest a Penalty afflict thee from ((Allah)) Most Gracious, so that thou become to satan a friend."
Ta-Ha
20:120 (Y. Ali) But satan whispered evil to him: he said, "O Adam! shall I lead thee to the Tree of Eternity and to a kingdom that never decays?"
Al-Hajj (The Pilgrimage)
22:52 (Y. Ali) Never did We send an apostle or a prophet before thee, but, when he framed a desire, satan threw some (vanity) into his desire: but Allah will cancel anything (vain) that satan throws in, and Allah will confirm (and establish) His Signs: for Allah is full of Knowledge and Wisdom:
Al-Hajj (The Pilgrimage)
22:53 (Y. Ali) That He may make the suggestions thrown in by satan, but a trial for those in whose hearts is a disease and who are hardened of heart: verily the wrong-doers are in a schism far (from the Truth):
Al-Nour (The Light)
24:21 (Y. Ali) O ye who believe! follow not satan's footsteps: if any will follow the footsteps of satan, he will (but) command what is shameful and wrong: and were it not for the grace and mercy of Allah on you, not one of you would ever have been pure: but Allah doth purify whom He pleases: and Allah is One Who hears and knows (all things).
An-Naml (The Ants)
27:24 (Y. Ali) "I found her and her people worshipping the sun besides Allah. satan has made their deeds seem pleasing in their eyes, and has kept them away from the Path,- so they receive no guidance,-
Al-Qasas (The Narration)
28:15 (Y. Ali) And he entered the city at a time when its people were not watching: and he found there two men fighting,- one of his own religion, and the other, of his foes. Now the man of his own religion appealed to him against his foe, and Moses struck him with his fist and made an end of him. He said: "This is a work of Evil (satan): for he is an enemy that manifestly misleads!"
Luqman (Luqman)
